Evening Shaide Offspring

MON SHARADE (x WCA MON CHERIE) at her first show won Junior Champion Filly in halter over the lovely WN EASTER OBSESSION, bred and owned at the time by Wayne Newton (later sold to Al Shaqab Stud) and shown to Senior Champion Mare at the Qatar Nationals.

In her short show ring career, MON SHARADE was awarded Champion or Reserve Champion never failing to make the finals of her Championship classes. SHARADE survived an accident as a 4 year old which shattered her long pastern bone.

The injury was similar to that of BARBARO, the Kentucky Derby winner who eventually lost his battle. SHARADE's bravery and cooperation working with the help and devotion of Drs. Tom Yarborough and Bob Morgan produced a successful recovery to date. RICCOSHAIDE (x VENETIAN GARNET) was shown one time to a Regional Top Ten Halter as a 2-year old in a large Breeders Sweepstakes class. RICCI's athleticism, coupled with his strong hind end and great legs/feet have made him an ideal mount for a wide variety of disciplines from dressage to endurance. His grand-dam on the tail female side, the lovely COMAR GARNET is one of the best AZRAFF daughters with three lines to RAFFLES.

SIERRA SHAIDE (x PEARL OF PARADA) was one of the late Victor Hugo Vidal's favorites when he judged her as a 3-year old filly at the Pacific Coast Sport Horse Classic. Victor especially liked her frame, balance, and way of going. SIERRA has been shown halter, western pleasure and in-hand, and has earned several Championships competing in Futurity Classes. MARIAH HNA (x PEARL OF PARADA) unshown to date, but with this lovely mare's beauty and athletic ability, she should follow in her siblings show ring footsteps. MARIAH is showing a talent for jumping, and may be the first of the SHAIDE offspring to venture in that discipline.

SHES A SHAIDE SHAI ( x Legacys Classy Doll)

SHES A SHAIDE SHAI (SHAIA) is out of the elegant stretchy Saddlebred mare, LEGACYS CLASSY DOLL. SHAIA's show record exemplifies her natural abilities both in-hand and under saddle --shown to USEF Regional Champion Half-Arab Halter Mare, NorCal Futurity Top Five, and placing in the top of her sporthorse under saddle classes. Now schooling western, we expect her to continue to be a standout in the ring.

SHAIDES ISLAND GIRL( x LEGACYS CLASSY DOLL)

SHAiDIE is a full sister to Shes A Shaide Shai and is destined for greatness based on her first exposure to the show ring after just one month of the pasture. SHAIDIE as a 2-year old was awarded Show Champion Half-Arab Sporthorse Mare at Golden Gate Arabian Show and also had the second highest in-hand score of all sporthorse entries. Update October 2010: SHAIDIE returned home from SHN with a National Top Ten in the 2 year old H/A Jackpot Futurity. When her number was called to receive her Top Ten title, SHAIDIE trotted into the arena accompanied by both her owners - Amanda Cesar and 10 year old Aislinn Reilly whose smiles brought tears of joy to many spectators who were watching the awards ceremony. It was so obvious the girls love their SHAIDIE.

MADE IN THE SHAIDE ( x Montessa Bey)

Made in the Shaide or ZADE is a 5 year old purebred gelding who was ridden endurance (barefoot) as a 4 year old and started his formal under saddle training in late March 2010. Zade is loving the transition to a show horse and all the attention that comes with it, and is displaying rapid progress in his training. We can't wait to see Zade develop as the season progresses, as he competes in Sporthorse In-Hand and Under Saddle Junior Horse and Training Level Dressage. At his second show, Diablo Arabian Horse Show (DAHA) ZADE won his age class In-Hand finishing 3rd overall for the Show Sporthorse Gelding Open Championship (in a large competitive class).

Update Oct 2010: Zade put in the performances of his life finishing 17th in-hand with Amanda Cesar out of 36 horses. Not bad!!! Zade had a stellar go in his under saddle class and a relaxed ride in dressage, however a blown lead in dressage cost any chance of a Top Ten title. His owner Tamara Cook said "I was very proud of how far this little gelding has come in 6 short months." The future for ZADE promises to be exciting.
