THE SHOW HORSE: EVENING SHAIDE earned multiple AHA and USEF wins in halter, western and hunter pleasure, sport horse under saddle, and dressage.  Of special note, was that a number of first place awards were earned against stallions who were National Champions in western and hunter pleasure, sport horse in hand, or dressage.

THE SIRE:EVENING SHAIDE offspring have been awarded 11 National AHA titles including 2 Reserve National Championships earned in-hand and dressage, twice finishing 3rd just missing more roses; 27 Regional AHA titles including 9 Regional Championships and Reserve Regional Championships earned under-saddle, in-hand, and dressage. SHAIDE offspring have been USEF Regional Champion or Reserve, placed in the USEF National Top Ten in multiple divisions, and been awarded an USDF Reserve National Championship All-Breeds Medal in dressage.

LIFE EXPERIENCES REPRESENTING HEART:
EVENING SHAIDE was started as a late 2 year old and within a few months was trail riding along the American River trail as bicycles swished by and children playing at the shoreline, all just a few yards away.  When he never even turned his head or showed any sign of spookiness, I knew that this guy had an incredible mind for whatever his future held.  What made this all so special was that at the time, SHAIDE was in halter training and showed that year at the US Nationals in Kentucky.  We believe EVENING SHAIDE was the only entry in his halter class that was not only broke to ride, but had already earned dressage ribbons that qualified him for Regionals.

SHAIDE's daughter MON SHARADE broke her leg at age 4 and survived an 8-month recovery confined to a stall, requiring just the right temperament to be successful.  To quote the vets, “ she was not a quitter but she had just the right temperament to make it” ... her great mind enabled her to have a successful recovery from a life-ending injury.
