… a horse of a lifetime, we are honored to have bred ECLIPSE and privileged to care for him ….      the von Rotz family

ECLIPSE SA+++/  (x LA CATRINA) is one of a select few purebred Arabians (less than six – AHA Sept 08') to have earned a National Championship or Reserve in both dressage and in-hand competition.

Maturing at over 16.1, ECLIPSE was special from the moment he was born, and to this day is the reflection of a horse with great intelligence, heart, and talent.  With an show record second to few purebred Arabians, he quietly and efficiently does his job, impressing all who come to know this gentle and sweet guy.

ECLIPSE is truly a wonderful ambassador for the Arabian breed and the horse world.

In 2004 ECLIPSE was awarded Reserve National Champion in dressage among 36 entries at US Sport Horse Nationals, also bringing home three National Top Tens.  At 2006 US Sport Horse Nationals, ECLIPSE was awarded another Reserve National Championship, this time in-hand among 44 entries, and also brought home an additional two National Top Tens.

ECLIPSE is a Regional AHA winner in numerous dressage levels -- 3rd, 2nd, 1st, and training (four Championships and one Reserve Championship), and numerous awards in under saddle open and amateur,  in-hand open and amateur, plus is a blue-ribbon winner in hunter pleasure.

Calm and always giving his best effort, judges' comments complement his thoroughness. self carriage and the relaxed attitude he exhibits on the dressage court as he reaches nicely under himself and develops a nice uphill frame as he works.
