SPORT HORSE NATIONALS PAYBACK PROGRAM BREEDING: SHNPAYBACK program represents the finest Arabian and open breed stallions to the nation's sporthorse breeders. The 2010 auction that began on September 1, 2009, highlighted EVENING SHAIDE as their first featured stallion of the new year. Shaide's breeding, along with 10 other stallions out of over 325 stallion offered, sold the very first day, an honor to be recognized as one of the most desired sporthorse sires in the country.
2010 SHOW SEASON : Two SHAIDE offspring enter the showring for the first time --- SHAIDES ISLAND GIRL ( x LEGACYS CLASSY DOLL) and MADE IN THE SHAIDE
( x MONTESSA BEY out of WCA MON CHERIE).
SHAIDES ISLAND GIRL or SHAIDIE'S first show was Golden Gate Arabian Horse Show where she won the Half-Arabian Sporthorse Mares age 2-4 as a 2-year old filly, and then was awarded the Show Champion Half-Arabian Sporthorse Mare garland. Shaidie had the second highest in-hand score of all the sport horse entries at the show.
Since her debut show, Shaidie has earned the NorCal Futurity Half Arab Two Year Old Filly Championship and is qualified for Regionals and Nationals in both Open and Amateur In-Hand classes.
Congratulations to ISLAND TIME ARABIANS, Dee and Amanda Caesar and Aislinn Reilly, Orangevale, CA. We look forward to watching SHAIDIE continue to shine in the ring throughout 2010.
Update October 2010: SHAIDIE returned home from SHN with a National Top Ten in the 2 year old H/A Jackpot Futurity. When her number was called to receive her Top Ten title, SHAIDIE trotted into the arena accompanied by both her owners - Amanda Cesar and 10 year old Aislinn Reilly whose smiles brought tears of joy to many spectators who were watching the awards ceremony. It was so obvious the girls love their SHAIDIE.
MADE IN THE SHAIDE or ZADE after just 7 weeks in formal training under saddle entered the Arabian Horse Association of Northern California (AHANC) show where he qualified for Regionals in both In-Hand and Under Saddle. Since his debut show, ZADE has qualified for Regionals and Nationals in Sporthorse In-Hand Open and Amateur, Sporthorse Under Saddle Junior Horse, and Dressage Training Level. At his second show, Diablo Arabian Horse Show (DAHA) ZADE won his age class In-Hand finishing 3rd overall for the Show Sporthorse Gelding Open Championship (in a large competitive class). At ZADE's most recent show, Pacific Coast Arabian Sport Horse Classic, ZADE finished the show with two dressage rides scoring 65-66 and earning his first "8"! All of this within just 2 1/2 months of formal under saddle training. The future looks very exciting.
Update Oct 2010: Zade put in the performances of his life finishing 17th in-hand with Amanda Cesar out of 36 horses. Not bad!!! Zade had a stellar go in his under saddle class and a relaxed ride in dressage, however a blown lead in dressage cost any chance of a Top Ten title. His owner Tamara Cook said "I was very proud of how far this little gelding has come in 6 short months." The future for ZADE promises to be exciting.
