2009 Region 3 Sport Horse Championships -- SUNNY earns his Legion of Supreme Merit (+++) with his Top Five placing in Sport Horse In-Hand. SUNNY and Heather end their show season on a strong note winning the Reserve Regional Championship in Sport Horse Under Saddle - ATR in a large competitive class.
Diablo Arabian Horse Show -- SUNDOWN and Heather again compete against the professional riders, winning the Sporthorse Under Saddle Open Class against some strong competition.
Pacific Coast Arabian Sporthorse Classic-- SUNDOWN is Show Champion Sporthorse Geldings ATH (2nd year in a row), also winning the Sporthorse Under Saddle ATR. Heather and SUNNY enter their first dressage class together, winning their first test, finishing a close second in their second test. This is remarkable since Heather and Sunny have never ridden a test together, even in practice, and SUNNY's last ride in the dressage court was at Nationals in 2008.
We have shown SUNDOWN SA+++/ this season with amateurs in both open and amateur under saddle, in-hand, and in AATR dressage divisions. SUNNY is showing straight out of pasture and started the season right where he left off ---WINNING in both open and amateur divisons!
